Devotee of Ina, Divino Rostro passes Bar examinations

By Paulo DS. Papa

A 25-year-old entrepreneur, Atty. Margarita Louise Jamer from Barangay Sta. Cruz, Naga City, achieved her dream of becoming a lawyer through her unwavering devotion to Our Lady of Peñafrancia and El Divino Rostro. Initially aspiring to be a simple businesswoman, she questioned her true calling in life.

Taking the Bar Examinations at the University of Nueva Caceres last September, Jamer, notified by the Supreme Court, celebrated her success. Despite nearly forgetting her social life, she focused on her reviews, shedding tears over the challenges she faced at UNC’s School of Law, ultimately graduating as a Juris Doctor this year.

Encouraged by her fish-selling parents, Richard and Maria Jamer, she sought guidance from Ina and devoted herself to the holy face of Jesus. Engaging in religious activities dedicated to Our Lady and the Holy Face, she prayed for the outcome of her efforts days before the bar results were released.

Currently awaiting her oath-taking schedule as a new advocate of justice, Jamer, who graduated cum laude in Entrepreneurship from Bicol University in 2019, is one of the 3,812 successful Bar examinees this year, ranking 1,979th among them. The Bar exams had a total of 10,387 participants nationwide.
