DILG endorses 2 brgys as entries for LTIA

DAET, Camarines Norte---Barangays Fundado of Labo and San Isidro, both of Talisay were endorsed recently recently by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) to the Regional Awards Committee (RAC) as official entries of the province for the Lupon-Tagapamayapa Incentives and Awards (LTIA).


Out of 282 barangays in the province that were assessed by their respective Municipal Awards Committee (MAC), four have qualified as provincial nominees. These are Barangays Fundado in Labo, and Barangay Calangcawan Sur in Vinzons for the 1st to 3rd Class Municipalities and Barangay San Isidro in Talisay and Barangay Dagotdotan in San Lorenzo Ruiz for the 4th to 6th Class Municipalities.

DILG PD Melody E. Relucio, CESO V said that LTIA was conceptualized and implemented in 1982 and has been elevated to a Presidential Award pursuant to Executive Order No. 394 serid of 1997.


One of the aims of the LTIA is to institutionalize a system of granting economic benefits and other incentives to the Lupong Tagapamayapa that demonstrate exemplary performance.


The LTIA 2023 Provincial Awards Committee (PAC) is headed by Relucio along with heads and representatives from the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor, Office of the Executive Judge of RTC, represented by Suzette S. Dacillo, PPOC Representative PCOL Antonio Bilon Jr., and CSO Representative Alvin R. Chio of SPACFI. (RBManlangit-PIA5/Camarines Norte with reports from DILG-Camarines Norte)
