DOLE meets with stakeholders
Catanduanes --- Through its Catanduanes Provincial Office, the Labor Department in Bicol spearheaded a stakeholders consultation meeting with Regional Director Ma. Zenaida A. Angara-Campita, CESO III, on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Casa Isabel Function Hall, Constantino, Virac, Catanduanes.
The main objective was to orient and update the stakeholders and co-partners of DOLE’s various programs and services and discuss strategies and approaches to implement these programs effectively and efficiently within the approved budget and timeframe. Further, the activity intended to build a stronger partnership with stakeholders; promote an inclusive and collaborative provision of services; provide an avenue for feedback and continuous improvement; and improve stakeholders’ engagement.
RD Zen Campita personally facilitated the activity and thanked all the participants for their time, efforts, active participation, and continued commitment to effectively implement DOLE programs and services, particularly TUPAD and Livelihood programs. Further, Assistant Regional Director Imelda Romanillos talked about the priority targets and direction setting for 2023.
Part of the program include A GAD learning video presentation; and discussion on the Employees Compensation Program with Ms. Yvette C. Bonavente, Information Officer II of ECC REU5. Mr. Domingo B. Go, Provincial Coordinator of Ako Bicol Partylist, also shared their programs and services and fully supported all stakeholders to benefit their respective constituents and clients. A press conference immediately followed the meeting.
Local chief executives, heads of line agencies, partylist, and media practitioners participated in the consultative meeting. With their support and cooperation, DOLE Catanduanes will surely achieve its on-time, with less hustle and smooth delivery of programs and services.
