The feast of St. Ignatius de Loyola was celebrated last July 31 by the Jesuit community in Naga City. Ateneo de Naga University President Fr. Aristotle Dy, SJ presided over the solemn eucharistic celebration at the Christ the King University Church. In his homily, Dy emphasized one of the most famous teachings of Ignatius, i.e., finding God in all things. He said that Ignatius named the Catholic order of priests he founded as the Society of Jesus, or more popularly known as the Jesuits, because members were to embody the teachings of Christ, not of Ignatius, and be Christ-centered in their mission work.
