FIRST FRIDAY RAWITDAWIT FOR FEBRUARY

Mark your calendar and reserve your seats for our FIRST FRIDAY RAWITDAWIT this February 4 at Tugawe Cove Cafe (2PM) featuring two poets from Rinconada: LUIS DATO of Baao and FRANK PENONES JR of Iriga City. Dato and Penones are both respected as poets, journalists and cultural workers in Bikol. Luis Dato who is considered as one of the pioneering Bikolistas is also recognized for his early poems in English. The same can be said about Penones who has received recognitions for his poetry in Bikol and English including a special poetry prize from San Jose State University in California.
