Fluvial Procession

Over a million devotees came to the Pilgrim City of Naga last Sat, Sept 20, to witness the annual fluvial procession. Bishop Bartolome Santos of Iba presided over the mass held at the grounds of the Basilica Minore de Peñafrancia on the vigil of the Solemnity of Our Lady of Peñafrancia. In his homily, Santos described the Bicolanos’ devotion to “Ina” as “intense” and unwavering. He also urged devotees “to bring ‘Ina’ home” with them and to do the will of God.
