Food relief distribution 2026

Camarines Sur Gov. Luis Raymond “LRay” Villafuerte Jr. stands in front of sacks of rice prepared for distribution to residents of various barangays in Bula, Camarines Sur, on Monday, August 10, 2026. Each resident received 10 kilograms of rice provided under the initiative of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., carrying the slogan, “Bagong Pilipinas — Bawat Bayan Makikinabang.” The distribution was assisted by Bula Mayor Manuel “Nonoy” Ibasco Jr., Vice Mayor Nellie “Bikol” Largo, and members of the Sangguniang Bayan.

Camarines Sur Vice Gov. Salvio “Sali” Fortuno Jr. also delivers a short message to Bula residents gathered for the rice distribution. He stressed the importance of the assistance being extended to the town’s residents and thanked the local officials and stakeholders involved in the program. (Alex Bustamante)
