Gilean Ministry holds Living Rosary with PWDs
By Dr. Ma. Asuncion Prieto-Quimlat
The Cluster 5 of the Caceres Gilean Ministry organized a Living Rosary with PWDs as participants. A total of 60 attendees came, representing 4 parishes in the Central District namely Naga Metropolitan Cathedral St. John Evangelist Parish, Our Lady of Peñafrancia Parish, Immaculate Conception Parish, and St. Anthony of Padua Parish (in Camaligan). In addition, two institutions joined the annual activity, Joseph Gualandi School for the Hearing Impaired and HELP Learning Center Foundation, Inc.

Held at the Pastoral Center of the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral last October 21, the activity started with a catechesis on the rosary, facilitated by Sr. Gemma Ria de la Cruz, FSP. This was followed by the Living Rosary.
A short musical presentation was held after praying, and Fr. Michel Angelo Escriba, Parochial Vicar of the Cathedral and Dr. Marita Prieto-Quimlat, Head of Gilean Ministry Cluster 5, gave short messages to the participants.
The Gilean Ministry Living Rosary is held every October, Month of the Holy Rosary. This started 5 years ago. It is one of the activities that promote camaraderie and collaboration between the Gilean coordinators and PWD members of Cluster 5.
