By Marita P. Quimlat, MD
During the installation of Archbishop Rex Andrew C. Alarcon as the 5th Archbishop of Caceres, six (6) Persons with Special Needs represented the Gilean Ministry. They are:
Christian Cadag of Mater Salutis Parish in Cararayan, Jay Recto of Our Lady of Peñafrancia Parish Naga City, Gilton Romeo Felix & Edwin Cambia of St John Evangelist Parish in Naga City, Jan Joyce Castillano of San Antonio de Padua, Camaligan and Cristina Capistrano of Immaculate Conception Parish Naga City.
It was a fruitful and meaningful experience for them, as they have collectively expressed: “We thank the Lord for an experience of a lifetime. Never did we even dare to entertain the thought that we will be called to participate in this momentous event in our history as an archdiocese: the honor to greet our new archbishop and to line up for the Offertory procession.”
The installation of Archbishop Alarcon was held May 2 at the Metropolitan Cathedral of St John the Evangelist Parish Pilgrim City of Naga.
