Gov. Villafuerte brings back Mobile Passport on Wheels

PILI, Camarines Sur --- The provincial government thru Gov. Luigi Villafuerte along with the Camarines Sur Public Employment Service Office headed by Sha Torallo is bringing back the operations of the Mobile Passport on Wheels in the province.


In collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Mobile Passport on Wheels will be offering its services from June 21-22, 2023 at the Fuerte CamSur Sports Complex, here.


As such, there will be an adequate period of time for the screening and assessment of required documents, necessary attachments, and fees until May 31, 2023, thus, their submissions will be accepted either at the Southeast Asian Institute of Computer Technology (SEAICT) located at the CamSur Trade & Investment Center, BMC Road, Panganiban Drive, Naga City or at the CamSur Public Employment Center (CS-PESO) located at the New IT Building, Capitol Complex, Cadlan, Pili


The passport-related services that will be entertained are as follows: Renewal Application (Adult 18 yrs. & above) including Renewal of Machine Readable Ready (Green) & Machine Ready Passport (Maroon) as well as Renewal of E-Passport (Dark Maroon); New Application (Adult 18 yrs. & above); and Minor Application (17 yrs. & below).


It is a given fact that there will be separate sets of requirements in order to qualify and avail of a specific service offered so it is advised to view this link https://consular.dfa.gov.ph/services/passport/ for a complete list of requirements needed.


There will be a conduct of a pre-registration before the actual dates of the actual caravan as the DFA shall strictly adhere and implement its “No Walk-In Applicants Policy” as well as applicants will mutilated and lost passport will not be processed.

It is expected that a great number of the provincial constituents will avail of this service for its convenience on time, travel, and even resources because, otherwise, they will need to set online appointments with DFA and travel to Legazpi City, Albay province, in order to apply for their passports.
