GSIS accepts borrowers’ loan payments via Bayad
The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) is now accepting loan payments from its member-borrowers through Bayad’s (formerly Bayad Center) payment touchpoints across the country.
“Hangad namin na bigyan ng maginhawa, secure, at accessible channels ang aming borrowers sa pagbabayad ng kanilang loans. They may now pay their loans at the Bayad Centers nearest their home and need not go to the GSIS office,” GSIS President and General Manager Rolando Ledesma Macasaet said.
Bayad now accepts payments for GSIS loans in advance; that are underpaid, delayed or unpaid; and are already in default (unpaid for more than six months). The said channel is in addition to agency remittance and over-the-counter payment in any GSIS branch office.
GSIS borrowers may now pay through selected Bayad Centers and Bayad Partners the following loan accounts: Enhanced Salary Loan; Emergency Loan Assistance; Summer One Month Salary Loan; eCard Cash Advance; Enhanced Consoloan; Emergency Loan; Home Emergency Loan Program; Study Now, Pay Later Loan; Fly PAL, Pay Later Loan; Educational Assistance Loan; Stock Purchase Loan; Regular Policy Loan; Optional Policy Loan; GSIS Financial Assistance Loan; Program for Restructuring and Repayment of Debts; Multi-Purpose Loan; and other upcoming GSIS loans.
Members may pay at the nearest Bayad Centers and fill out a Bayad Form with their full name, business partner (BP) number, loan type, payment amount and date, and mobile number. The validated Bayad Form will serve as proof of payment and may view their payments through their eGSISMO accounts.
Bayad President and CEO Lawrence Ferrer expressed happiness to extend this secure payment solution to GSIS and its members. “We want Bayad to be readily available for our hardworking kababayans, providing them more payment options for their loan payments, enabling safe, secure, and hassle-free over-the-counter financial transactions for GSIS borrowers.”
