THE Imperial Family Association (IFA) of Bicol is set to hold one of the region’s largest and most anticipated clan reunions on December 7, 2025, at the Sundaze Events Hall in Concepcion Pequeña, Naga City. Members of the prominent Imperial clan from across Bicol—including Albay and Camarines Sur, and the other cities and provinces and beyond —are expected to gather for what family organizers describe as the “homecoming of one of the biggest unified families in Bicol.”
The Imperial clan, regarded as one of the most enduring families in the Bicol peninsula, traces its roots to the Spanish colonial era. Over the centuries, its members have survived periods of conflict, contributed to the region’s economic development, and played significant roles in Bicol’s political and cultural history. The annual reunion aims to celebrate this long and colorful heritage while strengthening bonds among the clan’s current generation.
IFA states the homecoming will feature historical showcases, family tree presentations, along with activities designed to reconnect members from different provinces and branches of the family. For the second year, the event will be highlighted with the annual IFA Awards and Recognition.
Twelve awardees, who were all nominated by family members, will be honored for their outstanding achievements in the following fields: Academics, Sports, Profession, and Service. There will also be three (3) special recognition awards to be given as approved by the clan’s management committee.
This year’s awards committee is chaired by Dr. Nano Gumabao with Yeyen Valenzuela as vice chair. The other members are Dr. Ronnie Ursua, Monico “Yob” Imperial, Jr. and Fr. Danny Imperial.
The Imperial Family Association of Bicol encourages all descendants and relatives to attend and take part in the milestone celebration of unity, legacy, and shared identity.
Since the venue can only accommodate 300 seats, cousins need to pre-register. For this purpose, it is advised that attending clan members will please contact the Secretariat thru Minnie Imperial Perez Gomez.
