Instituto de Caceres-San Jose now offers SHS for the S/Y 2023-2024

After a long period of time, the Instituto De Caceres -San Jose has now joined the group of schools offering Grades 11 and 12 (Senior High School) level. From the beginning of its operation way back  2014, the school started  with 53 pupils having only the Nursery, Kinder and Grade 1 level.  

As  the desire of the Instituto De Caceres - San Jose to continue the Catholic education of its students, little by little,  the school extends up to  JHS level up to present.  Being the only Parochial School in the locality, it  gives great impressions to students especially the parents to enroll their kids and experience the hollistic and catholic education that this school offers.

Last January 22, 2023, the Department of Education - Region V, inspected and evaluated the school documents for the application of government permit to offer Senior High School, with the following tracks for this coming school year 2023-2024:  STEM, HUMMS and GAS.

With Science Technology and Engineering Mathematics (STEM) strand, students will be more exposed to complex sciences and mathematics as well as different theories laying the groundwork for their college courses. For Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), this strand focuses on human condition and will help students develop strong communication skills and understanding the variety of culture. And lastly, the General Academic Strand (GAS), strand covers different disciplines in preparation for students’ college courses.

The evaluation was facilitated by Mr. Manny Babasa, Region V Quality Assurance Division Head (QAD) for Private Schools  and Mrs. Eva M. Pardiñas of DepEd Cam. Sur, School Management Monitoring and Evaluation (SMME) team. After scrutinizing the documents and discussions with the School Principal, Mrs. Leticia T. Chavez, promptly, the QAD Head for Private Schools approved the application for new offer of the school.

Currently, the school is now accepting enrollees for Senior High School until July 14, 2023.
