Jealous guy kills partner

A jealous man tried to kill himself after stabbing his live-in partner several times inside their house in Sitio Bahay, Barangay Gubat in Tigaon town, Camarines Sur.

Staff Sgt. Joseph S. Carollo, Tigaon police investigator, identified the man as Marcel C. Blance, 37, of the same place. Blance killed his partner Francia B. Avila, 31, of the same barangay, on suspicion that the latter was having an affair with another man.

Carollo told Bicol Mail that the suspect stabbed the victim repeatedly during a heated argument.

He said the victim suffered three stab wounds in the back and one on her left breast, which resulted in her instant death.

The Police report said that the victim just got home from Naga City. The suspect who was waiting inside the house and the victim had a heated argument, which resulted to the stabbing incident.

Carollo said the suspect also tried to kill himself by stabbing his stomach.

He said the suspect after being treated for his wound is under police custody and facing a murder case.
