Katutubo children in Iriga receive holiday gifts

THE indigenous children of the Katutubo community in Zone 6, Sitio Quinartilan, Iriga City, gathered at the Covered Court Plaza for a special holiday outreach program on December 27, 2024. Organized by the Bicol Press Club in partnership with Iriga City Police Station (CPS) personnel, the event carried the theme “Pamaskong Handog Para sa mga Batang Katutubo”.
Attendees were greeted with thoughtful packages containing essential goods such as food items, clothing, and other daily necessities—small yet impactful gestures that brought immense joy to the young recipients.
The success of the event highlighted the importance of united efforts in fostering inclusion and uplifting marginalized communities. The Bicol Press Club’s dedication to social responsibility, combined with the Iriga CPS personnel’s unwavering support, showcased the positive outcomes of working hand in hand toward a common goal.
