Lawyers can now vote online for IBP elections

IN line with its program to do more, better, faster, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) now allows its members to vote online for the biennial IBP chapter elections on Feb. 27, 2021.

This upgrading provides IBP members a convenient alternative to the traditional “on-site” voting.

The online voting will encourage greater participation and involvement of Filipino lawyers in IBP and chapter affairs.

All IBP chapters have been instructed to ensure that the guidelines and instructions regarding online voting are widely disseminated and to facilitate online voting.

Members of good standing (updated membership dues as of Feb. 10, 2021) who are qualified to vote are to notify their IBP chapters not later than Feb. 22 of their intention to vote online and provide the required identification, email address, and contact number for easy verification.
