‘Learning Recovery Plan’ tops agenda of 2023 Teachers Assembly

VIRAC, Catanduanes --- The Department of Education’s (DepEd) Schools Division Office in Catanduanes held a teachers assembly on February 27 to 28 at Virac Sports Center here.

The activity was graced by DepEd Bicol Regional Director Gilbert Sadsad to discuss the ‘Learning Recovery Plan’ of students, professional development of teachers and other concerns.

During the event, RD Sadsad also led the oath-taking of newly appointed and promoted teachers in the province.

First day was allotted to Zones 1 and 2 while Zones 3 and 4 were scheduled for the next day. Zone 1 was composed of Virac and San Andres; Baras, Bato and San Miguel were under Zone 2; Viga, Panganiban, Bagamanoc and Gigmoto were under Zone 3; while in Zone 4 were the towns of Caramoran and Pandan.

Meanwhile, SDO Catanduanes held the 2022 Ondra Catandungan Awards to celebrate and honor the exceptional individuals who have made a significant impact in their respective fields.
