LGU Sipocot leads groundbreaking for multipurpose building

NAGA CITY---The local government of Sipocot lead the groundbreaking of a new multi-purpose building , April 17 at Sitio Casabod, South Centro, Sipocot. The said edifice will soon house various social and economic activities of the LGU which is expected to spur economic growth not just in the said municipality but also its neighboring towns.


Camarines Sur 1st District Representative Tsuyoshi Anthony Horibata personally graced the said ceremony.


Sipocot Mayor Tom Bocago and some officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) were also present during the event.


Cong. Horibata said that the newest edifice is just the start of the many projects he intends to realize.

In his post, he said that his will in putting up different infrastructure and development projects in the first district of the province is slowly being realized. This, he added is meant to improve the lives of his constituents and establish comparable programs that respond to the need of the community.


The construction of the said building which costs P68.6 million, started on March 3, this year and is set to be completed on December 3.


Sipocot residents expressed their gratitude to the local government unit of Sipocot thru Mayor Bocago, Cong. Horibata and DPWH for joining hands to realize the said project. (With reports from Carl Joshua Calinog, Camaligan National High School-PIA5/Camarines Sur)
