Luigi approves P20K cash gifts to each CamSur employee

Pili, Camarines Sur --- Camarines Sur Provincial Government personnel cheered at the top of their lungs as Governor Luigi R. Villafuerte announced this year’s Christmas cash gift of P20,000. The said announcement was made by the governor on December 12, 2024 at the Fuerte CamSur Sports Complex during the Christmas party of the LGU.

“Salamat po sa inyong lahat! As a reflection of my love to you, every month, every day, every year, nararamdaman ko po dumadagdag ang pagmamahal ninyo sa’kin. Bilang dumadagdag ang pagmamahal ninyo, gusto ko pong i-announce that capitol employees will be getting P20,000,” said the governor, queueing a resounding applause from the crowd.

He furthered, “Gusto ko lang sabihin to all of you na these three years bilang gobernador, bilang ama ng ating mahal na probinsya, I can honestly say, these have been the best three years of my life because of the [capitol] family that’s been surrounding me.”

CamSur 2nd District Representative Luis Raymund “Lray” Villafuerte also graced the event. Like Governor Luigi, the congressman was warmly welcomed by the employees with a wave of their phone flashlights.

“Maraming, maraming salamat! Sabi nga ni Gov. Luigi, kung wala kayo, wala kami. Nararamdaman ng mga tao ang serbisyo dahil sa inyo. Nakakarating ang bigas, ang gamot sa lahat ng bayan dahil sa inyo, kaya habambuhay kaming may utang na loob sa mga capitol employees,” said Congressman Lray. He also mentioned the future plans for the province which will also benefit the capitol employees, such as the CamSur Uptown, a rising vibrant economic area, digital talent hub, and tech center for the entire Bicol region.

Prior to the Christmas cash gift, on the last week of October, over 7,000 capitol employees already received calamity assistance amounting to P5,000 to aid in their recovery from the intense flooding brought about by Typhoon Kristine.

“Bilang patunay na mahal talaga namin kayo, ramdam namin yung kahirapan na dinanas natin nung Typhoon Kristine. Kaya kahit patapos na yung taon, inipon natin yung mga pondo na natitira at sinabi namin, ang una nating tutulungan ay ang mga empleyado,” furthered Congressman Lray. PGOMULTIMEDIA
