MNCCI Inc to host First Quarter GMA and Induction of new officers for 2026

Naga City --- The Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (MNCCI) is set to kick off the year with its First Quarter General Membership Assembly and the induction of a new set of officers for 2026. This important event will take place on January 30, 2026, at the Villa Caceres Hotel Ball Room, Magsaysay Avenue, Naga City, with registration starting at 4:00 PM.

This year’s assembly promises to be a significant gathering for all MNCCI members, including past presidents, current officers, and board directors. The theme, “MNCCI: Lead, Inspire and Transform,” encapsulates the organization’s commitment to fostering leadership and encouraging innovation within the local business community.

The program is thoughtfully structured into four engaging parts:

Part 1: Introduction

The assembly will commence with the Entrance of Colors by the Naga College Foundation ROTC Trainees, followed by the National Anthem sung by attendees. An invocation prayer led by Ms. Ynooh Floresca will set a reflective tone for the evening. The MNCCI Board of Directors will then process into the venue, followed by the Declaration of Quorum by Board Secretary Engineer Nico Nino G. Lagrimas. President Mario C. Villanueva will deliver the Welcome Remarks, after which Board Treasurer Engr. Ian Arvin G. Ferrer will present the Treasurer’s Report for 2025. The highlight of this section will be the turn-over of the gavel from outgoing President Villanueva to incoming President Dr. Emelita O. Menes, who will also share her acceptance message.

Part 2: Commissioning of the Officers

The formal induction will continue with the Commissioning of the Officers, where Mr. Gilbert N. Albero, the newly installed Regional Governor of PCCI South Luzon Area, will charge the newly elected officers. Mr. Hoover S. Picar, the newly installed PCCI Assistant Vice President for South Luzon Area, will then charge the new MNCCI President, Dr. Emelita O. Menes. The ceremony will culminate with the Induction Ceremony officiated by the Honorable City Mayor Maria Leonor G. Robredo, who will also deliver an inspirational message.

Part 3: MNCCI Hall of Distinction

In recognition of outstanding contributions, the new MNCCI President will award Certificates of Commendation, Appreciation, and Lifetime Membership. The session will conclude with closing remarks from the new Executive Vice President, Atty. Carlo C. Villanueva.

Part 4: Toast to Prosperity

The evening will close with a Toast to Prosperity, led by the new Vice President for External Affairs, Ms. Eleanor Zuniga-Montemayor.

Ms. Marie Antonette Eduardo will serve as the Master of Ceremony for this momentous occasion.
