THE Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI), in partnership with PMM Multimedia Services, has formally launched the Weddings, Travel & Lifestyle Expo Naga City 2026, a three-day event aimed at strengthening the region’s growing wedding, tourism, and lifestyle industries.

The project was officially unveiled during a press conference held on June 15 at Villa Caceres Hotel, bringing together representatives from the media, business community, tourism sector, influencers, and event partners.

Carrying the theme “Launching Bicol’s Premier Weddings, Travel & Lifestyle Showcase,” the expo is scheduled from June 22 to 24 at Robinsons Place Naga and is expected to serve as a major platform for business promotion, networking, and industry collaboration.

MNCCI President Emmy Menes said the initiative reflects the chamber’s continuing commitment to enterprise development and economic growth in Metro Naga and the wider Bicol Region.

As one of the region’s leading private sector organizations, MNCCI serves as a unified voice of businesses in Naga City and neighboring municipalities, advocating for investment promotion, enterprise support, and stronger collaboration among industries.

“The expo is designed not only as a consumer event but also as a strategic business platform that connects suppliers, entrepreneurs, and clients while showcasing the region’s strengths in weddings, travel, and lifestyle services,” Dir. Miles Lim-Solis said.

The expo will focus on three key sectors identified as important growth drivers in Metro Naga’s service economy.

Foremost among these is the weddings industry, which has seen increasing demand for event styling, catering, photography, videography, bridal fashion, venues, and coordination services. Organizers said the expo will provide a centralized marketplace where suppliers can directly engage with prospective clients.

The event will also highlight the travel and tourism sector. With Naga City serving as a gateway to Camarines Sur and the broader Bicol tourism circuit, travel agencies, resorts, hotels, and tour operators are expected to benefit from increased promotional visibility and direct consumer engagement.

Meanwhile, the lifestyle component of the expo will showcase fashion, gifts, home services, wellness products, and creative industries, providing opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and local brands to expand their market reach.

Organizers said visitors can expect wedding exhibitions, travel promotions, lifestyle showcases, interactive displays, and networking opportunities throughout the three-day event.

Beyond its commercial aspect, the expo is also expected to contribute to local economic activity by increasing foot traffic in commercial establishments, strengthening market access for MSMEs, and fostering cross-sector partnerships among businesses.

Industry observers note that the event reflects Naga City’s continuing efforts to further strengthen its position as the regional center for trade, services, tourism, and innovation through strong collaboration between the private sector and local stakeholders.

The 2026 edition is particularly significant as it mirrors the continuing recovery and expansion of the events, hospitality, and tourism sectors following the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizers believe lifestyle expos have become vital platforms for rebuilding consumer confidence, generating business opportunities, and revitalizing local industries.

By integrating weddings, travel, and lifestyle into a single showcase, MNCCI aims to create a hybrid commercial platform that supports both established enterprises and emerging entrepreneurs while promoting Metro Naga as a vibrant destination for business and leisure.

Further details, including participating exhibitors, special promotions, and program highlights, are expected to be announced in the coming days.
