Mrs. Mabolo mum on husband’s exclusion from mayors’ league

By Paulo DS. Papa

SAN FERNANDO, Camarines Sur --- Instead of expressing sentiments over her husband’s being delisted from the Municipal Mayors’ League of Camarines Sur, Michelle Mabolo, wife of Mayor Fermin Mabolo of this town, deeply thanked President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for allocating P1.5 million as seed capital for 150 beneficiaries of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

In her post last August 30, the town’s first lady said it is good to accept the fact that there is no forever and it’s hard to give sentiments daily.

“Good news naman tayo… mahirap mag-sentimyento palagi. Accept nalang natin na walang forever” her post reads.

She said that every beneficiaries will receive P15,000 each in cash as seed capital for their chosen businesses. She asked the members of the 4Ps to comment on her post, state their names, name of barangays where they live and their respective business plans for proper validation.

It is recalled that a heated argument over the radio transpired between Representative LRay Villafuerte of the 2nd district of Camarines Sur and the mayor after the former posted in his social media account, demanding San Fernando Mayor Fermin Mabolo to quit from his post as the league’s president in the province.

In his post in Aug. 29, LRay said 32 out of 35 municipal mayors in the province have signed a manifesto supporting Mayor Rey Lacoste of Buhi town as their new league president.

LRay, in his post, described Mabolo “kapit-tuko” in his position because the overstaying mayor did not even care to call for an election.

Kung pulitika lang pag uusapan - politics is addition but meron kaming prinsipyo.
