IN preparation for the upcoming 2025 Bar Examinations, Mayor Leni Robredo has issued Executive Order No. 021, formally constituting and activating the Naga City Bar Examinations Incident Management Team (IMT) to ensure a coordinated and effective response to any incidents or emergencies during the three-day exam period.

The announcement follows Bar Bulletin No. 1, Series of 2024 issued by the Supreme Court, which confirmed Naga City as one of the regional testing centers for the Bar Examinations scheduled on September 7, 10, and 14, 2025.

Mayor Robredo emphasized the need for a comprehensive and integrated incident management structure to meet the complexities and demands of the national event without being hindered by agency or jurisdictional boundaries.

The IMT will be headed by Renne Gumba as Incident Commander, with Raynor Rodriguez serving as Deputy Incident Commander.

The Command Staff includes: Jason Neola, Public Information Officer; Francisco Lim, Safety Officer; Fatima de Guzman, Liaison Officer;

The General Staff is composed of: Renee Abiada, Operations Section Chief; James Nathaniel Refugio, Planning Section Officer; Arthur Abonal, Logistics Section Chief; Ruby Singson, Finance and Admin Section Chief; Maria Socorro Gayanilo, Deputy Finance and Admin Section Chief;

Unit Leaders are as follows: Elmer Sto. Domingo, Resource and Situation Unit Leader; Anselmo Maño, Documentation and Food Unit Leader; Allen Reondanga, Communications Unit Leader; Dr. Rolando Amoranto, Medical Unit Leader;

The Task Force Leaders for critical operational areas include: PCol. Gilbert Fariñas, TF Security, Law, and Order; Arnulfo Fausto, TF Traffic Management and Crowd Control; Engr. Joel Martin, TF Utilities; Erlie Arvin Cabral, TF Medical, EMS, and Decontamination; Alfredo Gutierrez, TF Emergency Preparedness and Response;

With thousands of examinees and support personnel expected to arrive in the city, the local government is set to mobilize all necessary resources, personnel, and inter-agency coordination mechanisms to ensure the safe and efficient conduct of the Bar Examinations.

The Bar Exam is under the regionalized and digitized testing system introduced by the Supreme Court in recent years.
