New BRePITC officers to address issues in power industry

LEGAZPI CITY --- To promote industrial peace, harmony, and labor justice in the power industry, DOLE Bicol constituted the Bicol Region Power Industry Tripartite Council (BRePITC). The newly-elected officers also took their oath of office on Tuesday at Emerald Boutique Hotel, Legazpi City.


Regional Director Ma. Zenaida A. Angara-Campita led the oath taking ceremony of the new BRePITC Officers: Marlon M. Asidillo of CASURECO I(PRESIDENT), Mila N. Gopela of SORECO I (VICE-PRESIDENT), Noel C. Laureles of CSURECO I (SECRETARY), Noel P. Fucio of CASURECO III (TREASURER), Lares B. Balisoro of PGPC (AUDITOR), Board of Trustees: Dante L. Encinas, Mark Anthony H. Francisco, Kareen A. Perez and Haysli I. Lucilo.


RD Campita expressed her confidence that the council will continue to uphold labor and employment policies, as well as to strike a balance between business growth and workers’ welfare.


Among the discussion during the 3rd quarter meeting include the Amendment of Constitution and By-Laws (CBL) in compliance with the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) registration; Workers’ Organization Development Program (WODP) Training and Scholarship; and Crafting of Resolution on issues affecting the organization or workers.


Present during the meeting were Engr. Roberto L. Aranas, RO Tripartism Focal Person, Bryan T. Tejerero, representative of Leo S. Austero of FICELCO, Ms. Kleane Magdato and Engr. Clifford Como, Marvin Dayro, Henry Charles Gulinao of RO Labor Relations Unit.
