Archbishop Rolando J. Tria Tirona commemorated the Lord’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem at The Naga Metropolitan Cathedral today, Palm Sunday, 02 April 2023. During the celebration, he blessed palm branches and led a procession at the Cathedral Patio, where he was greeted by children during the traditional “Hosannahan.” The Archbishop then celebrated a Eucharistic Celebration inside the Cathedral Church, where he said that the days of Holy Week are days of grace and blessings. Recognizing that family reunions and other activities take place during this week, he also urged and reminded the faithful not to sacrifice the spirit of Holy Week, especially of the Paschal Triduum. “Prayer should always be the prominent sentiment and feeling [within our families],” the Archbishop said.
