Last June 15, the Naga Immaculate Conception Parish (ICP) Saradit na Kristiyanong Komunidad (SKK) set out early for a pilgrimage to the Jubilee Churches in Naga City and the Rinconada District.
Celebrating SKK Day on the Feast of the Holy Trinity, the highlight of the pilgrimage was the SKK Encounter held at the Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Anthony of Padua in Iriga City. Members of both groups shared a meal before the formal program, which included a discussion of best practices. Both acknowledged and highlighted the importance of celebrating masses in their respective communities, and going around to partake in Dialogue with community leaders and members as part of sustaining enthusiasm and participation among them.
Common to both Parishes is the prime mover of establishing SKKs: Fr. Mario Arnulfo Gaite, who was once a Parish Priest of ICP Naga and currently the outgoing Parish Priest of the Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Anthony of Padua.
Come 2026, ICP Naga will celebrate the 15th Anniversary of its SKKs. An activity to celebrate this milestone will be organized alongside both communities which is slated on May 31, 2026, SKK Day.
