Penitential Walk for Life

Now on its 10th year, the annual Penitential Walk for Life themed “Walk for Life, Walk for Hope” is slated on March 29, Saturday. Different assembly points are designated for the delegates, whose call time is at 4AM. There will be a procession en route to the Basilica Minore de Peñafrancia at 4:30AM, where the eucharistic celebration will be held thereafter, culminating the annual Walk. The Penitential Walk for Life was started in the Archdiocese in 2015 and aims to unite families and institutions through prayer for national concerns, especially for respect for life. This annual prayer activity strengthens awareness for current threats to life, promotes not only the sanctity of the family but also social justice, and fosters commitment in upholding the dignity of every human person.
