PIA, CamNorteComNet to conduct info caravan in Labo and Sn Vicente towns

DAET, Camarines Norte --- The Philippine Information Agency, Camarines Norte Information Center with the support of the Camarines Norte Communicators Network (CamNorteComNet) will be conducting an Information Caravan/One-Stop Shop in the towns of Labo and San Vicente.
This was agreed upon during the 2nd Quarter Meeting of the ComNet held June 30 at the Executive Conference Room, Municipal Building of Daet.
CamNorteComNet Convenor Information Center Manager Rose Manlangit said that proposal for LGU-Labo was already undertaken. Also, there was a previous approval from LGU-San Vicente but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the 2nd Quarter Meeting, the ComNet evaluated the Information Caravans held in Calaguas Island in Vinzons and Daet. Also, the ComNet planned its activities for the second semester and one of these is the conduct of caravans in the remaining municipalities that the group has not yet reached.
The said meeting was presided by CamNorteComNet President Rommel R. Pajarin who is also a member of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) speaker’s bureau and election officer of Vinzons.
The 2nd Quarter meeting was attended by chiefs and Public Information Officers (PIOs) of BSP, DA, 9IB 9ID Phil. Army, BFP, CNSC, NFA, DTI, DPWH-Sub DEO, PNP, 902nd IBDE Phil. Army, CANORECO, PRC, NBI, DILG, PAGASA, DENR-PENRO, BJMP, Provincial Govt. of Camarines Norte, LGU-Mercedes, LGU-Daet and LGU-Jose Panganiban.
The PIA with ComNet has conducted a total of 11 information caravans in the province of Camarines Norte. It was held in Paracale, Vinzons, Mercedes, and Capalonga in 2018 and in Basud in 2019.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a combination of online and face-to-face information caravan was held in Paracale in 2020; and Jose Panganiban and Daet in 2021. Last year ComNet restarted the face-to-face caravan in the town of San Lorenzo Ruiz.
On April 20, the 10th Information Caravan benefited the residents of Barangay Pinagtigasan, Calaguas Island, Vinzons. This is in partnership with LGU-Vinzons and the Provincial Government of Camarines Norte.
Recently on June 20, ComNet conducted the 11th Information Caravan/One-Stop Shop in Daet during the Pinyasan Festival.
The CamNorteComNet is composed of PIOs from National Government Agencies (NGAs), Government Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs), and Local Government Units (LGUs) in the province.
