PLAZA RIZAL BY NIGHT

Countless multi-colored tiny lights adorn Plaza Rizal located at the center of Naga City. The plaza is undergoing major face-lifting thru the city government’s redevelopment project funded by the Department of Budget and Management. The construction work forms part of the bigger Urban Area Redevelopment Project with a budget of P17 million. Among the features that promenaders can see in the area are bike lanes and stations, streetscapes (public walkways), organized parking spaces, loading and unloading zones, and wellness and tourist assistance centers. -VIC VILLAFLOR/CEPPIO
