PNP nabs 7 wanted persons

Police anti-crime operatives rounded up on Tuesday, Apr. 6 seven wanted persons facing criminal offenses in separate operations in five Bicol provinces, a police report said.
The arrested suspects were facing criminal complaints for rape, child and women abuse, attempted and frustrated murder; arson, and illegal possession of firearms, according to Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office 5.
In Camarines Sur, police on the strength of court-issued warrant arrested Rodel Grengia, 42 of Lagonoy town, who is facing a case for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition at around 11:00 PM.
In Sipocot, Erwin Matia, 21 of Barangay Vigaan, tagged as the 10th most wanted person in said town was collared at 10:30 AM at his residence. He is facing a case for attempted murder.
In Calabanga, Larry Bruña, 40, of Barangay Sogod was nabbed at 9:00 AM for arson.
In Talisay, Camarines Norte, police operatives arrested at around 11:00 AM Arnel Ocampo, 34, alias Kulot/Bukol of Barangay San Isidro. He is tagged as the number one wanted person in said town. The suspect is facing complaints for child and women abuse.
In Pio Duran, Albay, Joven Bosquet, 30 of Barangay Gaba, Rapu-rapu town and considered the number one most wanted in the island municipality was nabbed at around 10:30 AM in Barangay Marigondon. The suspect is facing charges of rape.
In Matnog, Sorsogon, Jose Gabas Formanes, 37 of Barangay Cabagahan, tagged as the sixth most wanted person in said town was nabbed at around 4:30 PM at his residence. The suspect is facing charges for frustrated murder.
While in Monreal, Masbate, suspect Ronel Lazarte, 24, of Barangay Morocborocan was nabbed at around 9:20 AM for charges of rape.
The arrested suspects were in police custody and awaiting court disposition.
