Prudence and Care

As most countries struggle to fight Covict 19, it has been reported that a new variant has been discovered by Health authorities. Dubbed as “OMICRON” the new variant is reportedly a more serious and fast spreader. Yet the protocol has been lowered to Delta 2 in the National Capital Region and most of the regions in Luzon and Visayas, in our desire to revive the country’s industries and render the same vibrant. It would appear that the choice is between the economic prosperity of the nation and the health of the citizenry. Indeed, the choice is quite hard but in the face of all these events it is most vital that our people need to exercise more care and prudence in their daily lives.

For the first time in the history of the City of Naga, the 2021/22 Bar Examinations will be conducted at the University of Nueva Caceres. This is by virtue of the Bar Bulletin issued by Supreme Court Associate Justice Marivic Leonem, the Chairperson of the Bar Examination Committee. As is the usual practice, the Bar Exams are held every Sunday for four Sundays in a given school in Metro Manila, often times at the UST. In this connection, Mayor Nelson Legacion has reportedly issued an Executive Order to “facilitate the setting up of the city’s integrated structure that will match the complexities and demands of the event, without being hindered by agency or jurisdictional boundaries:”
