PSA Catanduanes celebrates 10th year with tree-planting activity at Calampong

VIRAC, Catanduanes --- The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) marked the celebration of its 10th year anniversary with a tree-planting activity at Barangay Calampong on Sunday, June 25.

Spearheaded by PSA Catanduanes, the activity, which coincided with the National Arbor Day, was participated by employees of PSA Catanduanes, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and Philippine National Police (PNP).

In her message, Statistical Specialist Anavi F. Camacho expressed her appreciation to the village officials of Calampong and members of the Sangguniang Kabataan for their participation in the said endeavor. She also extended her gratitude to DENR and PNP personnel for the support they extended to the activity.

She said there’s no better way to celebrate PSA’s anniversary than conducting activities geared towards a greener future and making a positive impact in the environment.

She also encouraged the participants to continue to nurture the trees that they have planted as they are symbols of hope and vitality for generations to come.

PSA also conducted radio guestings and information caravan in various municipalities as part of the celebration. (PIA5/Catanduanes)
