Naga City Mayor Nelson Legacion (3rd from right) commits to immediately commence the implementation of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program in his city, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with #DHSUD Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar (4th from left) for the said program on Tuesday. Mayor Legacion vowed readiness to rollout the flagship housing program, citing available land resources in the area. Secretary Acuzar, for his part, directed Undersecretary Lyle Pasco to lead ensuing housing-related activities in the city to ensure the continuity of the program implementation. Under the #PambansangPabahay, DHSUD is tasked to build 1 million housing units annually until 2028 to address the country’s housing backlog pegged at more than 6.5 million units. (DHSUD Facebook)
