Rising MMA superstar shines at URCC

On Sunday May 25, at the URCC event during the Kaogma Festival, Menard Atole delivered a commanding performance and emerged victorious as the sole fighter representing Naga City and he did it with undeniable dominance.

This wasn’t just any win. Menard went up against Juro Amandoron, from Catalan Fighting System, is a highly known 19-year-old competitor with over 10 professional and amateur MMA fights on his record and a strong background in boxing and kickboxing. Amandoron is known for his aggressive style, technical skill, and battle tested fighter— making him a serious threat to anyone who stands across from him. He wasn’t an easy opponent by any means, but Menard rose to the challenge with poise, precision, and power and came out on top with authority.

Displaying razor-sharp technique, fierce determination, and composure under fire, Menard neutralized Amandoron’s strengths and took control of the fight, delivering a statement victory that turned heads and left no doubt about his potential.

This win was not just a personal triumph, but a proud moment for all of Naga City — a shining example of what homegrown talent, hard work, and heart can achieve.
