RTIPC names new set of execom officers

LEGAZPI CITY --- To further strengthen the partnership for new programs and projects in the promotion of industrial peace and harmonious relationship between management and the labor sector, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in Bicol Region together with its Regional Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (RTIPC) has named their new set of Executive Committee Officers during the Tripartism General Assembly conducted on Wednesday, Feb. 22, this year, here.

Elected Executive Committee Officers were Vice-Chairperson for Labor Romina Villamor, Vice-Chairperson for Management Efren Daniel De Leon, Auditor for Labor Ryan Remolacio, Auditor for Management Arnold Guadalupe, Secretary for Labor Jobelle de Vera, Secretary for Management Charlyn Torallo, Treasurer for Labor Maria Genevieve Laynes, Treasurer for Management Jose Medina, Public Relations Officer for Labor Ma. Nelita C. Masagca-Panti, and Public Relations Officer for MGMT Honelet Bertis.


Regional Director Ma. Zenaida A. Angara-Campita, together with Assistant RD Atty. Marion S. Sevilla, ARD Imelda E. Romanillos, TSSD Chief Marilyn Luzuriaga, Cam Sur Provincial Office (PO) Head Ma. Ella E. Verano, Albay PO Head Ching Banania, Cam Norte PO Head Cherry B. Mosatalla, Sorsogon PO Head Jane Rolda, Masbate PO Head Lynette dela Fuente led the election proper and oath-taking ceremony of the new officers for the year 2023-2025.


“Our advocacy of productivity is ‘you belong to one organization – employees and management’ for the company to attain progress and success, in which the benefits will eventually be redounded to the workers,” Campita said in her opening message.


Meanwhile, after the election and oath taking ceremony in the morning, learning sessions followed which include DOLE RO5 Online Processes; Latest Jurisprudence on Labor Relations and Labor Standards; DO No. 237, series of 2022; and Updates on SSS, PhilHealth, PAG-IBIG. The council also ratified their Constitution and By-Laws.


The new set of officers thanked the council for their trust and confidence. They also assured the RTIPC of their unwavering commitment to strengthen and intensify collaboration with the labor department.


RTIPC was formed to promote industrial peace and harmony between labor and management, with the assistance of the government, in order to achieve productivity, quality, excellence, growth, and labor justice in the workplace.


It is established for the purpose of providing a continuing forum for tripartite advisement and consultation in encouraging reforms in government, empowering workers’ and employers’ organizations, enhancing their respective rights, attaining industrial peace, improving productivity, quality, excellence, growth and labor justice in the region.
