Sacristans gather for Annual Summer Camp

The Commission on Worship-Ministry of Altar Servers, headed by Fr. Jessie Eduagal, sponsored the Archdiocesan Camping for Altar Servers  from July 18-20, 2023 at the Don Servillano Platon Memorial High School, Tinambac, Camarines Sur.

The gathering’s theme was: “The Need of Liturgical Formation for the Ministry of Altar Servers.”

Caceres Archbishop, Most Rev Rolando J Tria Tirona, OCD presided over the opening liturgy.

Fr. Eduagal presented the participants: Rinconada district has 408 participants from 23 parishes, Partido has 312 from 15 parishes, Bay district has 280 from 18 parishes and Central district from 12 parishes has 173 Sacristans. A total of 1173 altar servers participated in the summer camp.

The camp featured lectures, games, vocation campaign, liturgical talks, procession and tiktok competition among the participants.

The officers of the Association of Communities of Consecrated Life in Caceres (ACLIC) gathered on July 21, 2023 together with the consecrated men and women of Caceres to celebrate the 77th birthday of His Grace, The Most Rev. Rolando J. Tria Tirona, OCD, DD, at the Archbishop’s Residence, Naga City. The religious thanked Archbishop Roly for supporting them in their different ministries. (Text and photo by ACLIC)
