Savagemind opens Cabalquinto Reading Room

CABALQUINTO Reading Room Savagemind, an independent book store and Naga City's creative heart opened the Luis Cabalquinto Reading Room on Jan. 30 as an avenue of poetry listening to all especially the youth. Luis Cabalquinto (center) is a celebrated poet from Magarao and presently residing in New York City since 1968. The reading room is intended as a response to the lack of concern from the local government of Naga towards arts and culture, according to Savagemind owner Kristian Cordero (right). Also in photo is Bienvenido Lumbrera, national artist for Literature and Journalism.
