Sunlight Air’s inaugural flight: A promise of more affordable airfare for the Bicol region

On June 28, 2023, Friday, the highly anticipated inaugural flight of Sunlight Air marked a momentous occasion in the skies of the Naga Airport. A sense of excitement and anticipation filled the air, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience for all those on board. The Naga City Mayor Honorable Atty. Nelson S. Legacion, the Vice Mayor of Pili, Honorable Francis B. Belen, joined by the President of the first and only aviation maintenance and engineering school in the Bicol Region – Aeronautical Academy of the Philippines (AAP), Chairman Edgar P. Hebrio, and other guests, industry leaders, and aviation enthusiasts graced the occasion as well.

Chairman Hebrio of AAP can be seen with all smiles as one of his school’s alumni, Mr. Jameson M. Doloso, is now the new Quality and Safety Manager of SEA Aviation Services, the Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) of Sunlight Air.


With a graceful takeoff, Sunlight Air headed by Captain Reynan K. Fuentebella and First Officer Dhan Erik P. Gonzales soared into the skies, marking the beginning of a new era in air travel for the Bicolano community. The inaugural flight of Sunlight Air had lived up to its promise of excellence, leaving everyone aboard eagerly looking forward to future flights on this dedicated aircraft. With this triumphant debut, the airline company has undoubtedly set a new benchmark for the aviation industry, and passengers worldwide can now eagerly await their turn to experience the wonders of the skies in an unparalled style and comfort that can only be found with Sunlight Air. ~~ guniguni’98
