TESDA CASIFMAS, PNP revitalized Pulis sa Barangay spearhead community based training

SagÑay, Camarines Sur --- In support to the government program on poverty reduction, provision of livelihood and employment opportunities TESDA CASIFMAS and the PNP Revitalized Pulis sa Barangay [PNP-R-PSB] remain to succor particularly in the geographically isolated and disadvantage areas in the province of Camarines Sur in providing community-based training in developing self-assured, hardy, fruitful and viable communities through coordinated and responsive community development programs. The training programs were scheduled ranging from two to five days this November and December respectively.


Notwithstanding the distance of the training venues, TESDA and the PNP-R-PSB were able to implement various skills and community-based training on tosino and longanisa making, massage therapy, beauty care, dishwashing liquid making, cassava and banana chips making, leadership training, photo journalism and project proposal writing in the following barangays of Bongalon, Sibaguan, Aniog and Kilantaao in the municipality of Sangay and Brgy. Capucnasan in Milaor.


One of the highlights of the community based training was the special training workshop in leadership, photo journalism and project proposal writing specifically designed to capacitate Barangay Officials, Committee Chairpersons, community organizations and SK Chairman and members.


FULL FORCE. True to the present TESDA tagline, Sa TESDA Lingap ay Maasahan, various training program were provided by TESDA CASIFMAS in convergence with the PNP Revitalized Pulis sa Barangay. The training activities were specially designed to the geographically isolated and disadvantage areas in Camarines Sur in order to capacitate the residents with the skills needed to augment economic potentials. Identified barangays include Bongalon, Sibaguan, Aniog and Kilantaao in the municipality of Sangay and Brgy. Capucnasan in Milaor town. Team Leader PCPT Ric R. Reginales of the PNP R-PSB Delta reiterated to the training participants the need to treasure the opportunity, practice and apply the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will be gained from the training thereby uplifting economic downturn.


All training participants were also given training certificates and finished products like processed meat, foodstuffs and dishwashing liquids.


Kudos to the Police Regional Office V, Camarines Sur 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, PNP R-RPSB, Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office [CSPPO], Milaor Municipal Police Station and Sangay Municipal Police Station for the successful implementation of the community training workshop.
