TESDA CASIFMAS welcomes new school administrator

PASACAO, Camarines Sur --- The Camarines Sur Institute of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (CASIFMAS) with its extension campuses in Libmanan, Minalabac and Caranan welcomed the appointment of Associate Professor V Rita R. Obsequio as the new acting Vocational School Superintendent during the turn-over ceremony on Tuesday, Apr. 6.

Obsequio is a resident of Canaman, Camarines Sur. She graduated in elementary as valedictorian, salutatorian in high school and cum laude in college. She has a doctorate degree in Philosophy from the Bicol University.


Some of the designations and chairmanship entrusted to her before her promotion include: Quality Assurance and Management System, Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification, Diploma and STAR rating program and Unified TVET Program Registration, and Certification in TESDA.


Obsequio will now managed the school’s institutional development plan such as converting the school into polytechnic, opening of new extension campuses, shifting to diploma program offerings and aiming for Gold in APACC accreditation and certification, resuming the regular program offerings and projects of the four campuses related to school and enterprise-based trainings, scholarship, competency assessment, research, partnership and linkages and other special projects consistent with the TESDA national directives.


The turn over ceremony was graced by TESDA Regional Director Elmer K. Talavera, TESDA Provincial Director Alejandro R. Cortez and Ragay Polytechnic Skills Institute Vocational School Superintendent Rosalyn T. Perida.
