It will be recalled that the newly built Farmers Training Center was donated by Senator Migz Zubiri to LGU-Daet.

Bonagua also urged the participants to invite other young potential farmers to be like them, as he looked forward to the partnership between TESDA and the LGU, especially in converting the Farmers Training Center into an LGU-run Training Center for Agriculture. This program will help address the food shortage that might be felt in the coming days.

He also shared inspiring stories related to agriculture, including the story of the IT Founder, Bill Gates who left his position to become a philanthropist and then later engage in farming as he predicted that in the coming years, famine will be felt due to food shortages.

Another story he shared is the story of Israel, a country with vast deserts which were transformed into a famed agricultural farming center.

He instructed the MAO to promptly prepare all the required paperwork for the registration of their organization and training programs with TESDA.

Bonagua said that TESDA would be able to allocate funds through scholarship programs if the programs for registration will be approved.

TESDA’s participation in the training program emphasizes its dedication to promoting the importance of agriculture and its willingness to work with local governments in establishing training centers to provide relevant and high-quality agricultural education.
