The 4th NCF Presidential Cup showcases karate spirit despite Uwan's threat

The 4th Naga College Foundation (NCF) Presidential Cup: Mario Villanueva Open Invitational Karatedo Tournament was successfully held on November 8, 2025, at Robinsons Naga, gathering karatekas from various provinces within and beyond the Bicol Region.
Organized by the NCF Tigers Karatedo Team, the official varsity karate team of Naga College Foundation, the event highlighted outstanding displays of discipline, respect, and excellence among all participating dojos.
The tournament concluded with the following results:
Overall Champion: BAZTEKHAN PKL GOA
1st Runner-Up: 9th ID the Pathfinder, Philippine Army
2nd Runner-Up: NCF Tigers Karatedo Team
The NCF Tigers Karatedo Team proudly secured the 2nd Runner-Up Overall title—an achievement that reflects the team’s unwavering dedication, skill, and fighting spirit. The tournament also received support from its sibling club, Seigiken Karatedo Kyokai, based in Metrohomes, Calauag, Naga City, under the guidance of Sensei Edward Louie Salcedo. Together, they continue to promote unity and excellence within the Shotokan community.
For those interested in learning Karatedo, non-NCF members are welcome to train with Seigiken Karatedo Kyokai, while NCF students may enroll in the NCF Tigers Karatedo Training Camp.
