The SSS Pension Loan Program (PLP)

The Social Security System (SSS) is pleased to inform you of its PENSION LOAN PROGRAM (PLP) to qualified retiree-pensioners with a loanable amount of up to P200, 000.00. It aims to assist SSS retiree-pensioners in their financial needs through a loan window which does not require the surrender of ATM cards as collateral, and at a low interest rate.

The SSS Pension Loan is a safe and secured loan open to all qualified retiree-pensioners who meet the following conditions:

1) Must be receiving his/her regular monthly pension for at least one (1) month and status of pension is "Active";

2) Must be 85 years of age or below at the end of the month of loan term;

3) With approved disbursement account enrolled in DAEM (Disbursement Account Enrollment Module);

4) Must have no deductions from his/her monthly pension (outstanding loan balance, benefit overpayment payable to SSS, etc.);

5) Must have no existing advance pension under any SSS Calamity Assistance Package; and

6) With updated “mailing address and mobile number” through the duly accomplished Pensioner’s Data Change Request (PDCR) Form to be submitted to any SSS Branch nearest your place.

Retiree-pensioners can avail a loan equivalent to 3X up to 12X the sum of their Basic Monthly Pension (BMP) and additional benefit of P1,000, with a low interest rate of only 10% per annum computed based on diminishing principal balance. Payment terms can be 6, 12 or 24 months.

If you still do not have a My.SSS account, please log-in to the SSS website to create one, as well as to enrol a disbursement account through which the pension loan proceeds will be credited.
