USI delivers with a phenomenal 99.43% PNLE passing rate, claims 8th spot nationwide

NAGA CITY — The Universidad de Sta. Isabel de Naga, Inc. (USI) has once again demonstrated its stature as one of the country’s premier nursing institutions after its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program recorded an outstanding 99.43% passing rate in the November 2025 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (PNLE), earning 8th place nationwide.

This latest accomplishment reinforces USI’s identity as a beacon of excellence in nursing education. As the first Normal School for Women in Southeast Asia, USI carries a legacy that is both historic and trailblazing, inspiring generations of students to pursue academic and professional greatness.

As the BSN program approaches its 60th founding anniversary in 2026, its consistent performance reflects a tradition of excellence shaped by visionary leadership and strong Vincentian values. The program remains a model of what dedicated formation and mission-driven education can achieve.

Across six decades, USI has produced more than 40 board topnotchers and has earned recognition as a Top Performing School four times, reaffirming that within its halls, excellence is not an occasional achievement but a legacy continually passed down from one generation of learners to the next.

Recent board exam results show a pattern of remarkable performance: November 2025: 178 examinees — 99.43% passing (8th place) June 2019: 58 examinees — 98.31% passing (3rd place) June 2018: 56 examinees — 82.14% passing (6th place) May 2015: 66 examinees — 91.67% passing (9th place)

USI attributes these outcomes to its strong academic foundation and hands-on clinical training, which allow its students to grow into competent, compassionate, and globally competitive professionals. The program lives by its guiding principle: “Learn, Excel, Serve — Producing excellent graduates not only nationally but globally; service-oriented, servants of the poor.”
