VIVA, HESUS NAZARENO!

The pilgrim image of the Black Nazarene of Quiapo in Manila was welcomed by the devotees at the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral on August 25, this year, where a liturgical reception was conducted. The rite was followed by the celebration of the Holy Eucharist with Archbishop Rolando Tirona, OCD. DD. as celebrant. The image was brought to the parishes of Our Lady of La Porteria, Divine Mercy, and Finding of the Holy Cross, all in Calabanga town, before it was transported to its final destination – the Black Nazarene Parish in Barangay Binanuaanan – which celebrated its 13th parish foundation anniversary on August 25-29, 2022. It was the third time that the image visited the parish of Binanuaanan. (JBN)
