Woman steals P2 M cash, jewelry in Daet

Police operatives are tracking down a theft who carted away some P2 million worth of cash and jewelry from a businesswoman on Saturday (Dec.18) afternoon at her house in Daet, Camarines Norte.
The Daet Municipal Police Station Police has issued an all-points bulletin against Virginia Billete Bolocon, 45, of Barangay Lalawigan, Mercedes town, according to Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, the Bicol police spokesperson.
The victim, Janet Cama Nael, 43, married, and a businesswoman, complained to the police that her house was burglarized by robbers who took away P1.5 million in cash and P500,000 worth of jewelry at around 8:00 PM pm at Barangay Lag-on in Daet town.
Investigators said the suspect was recorded by a CCTV camera while she forcibly destroyed the back door and in the act of stealing the victim’s valuables.
The police were able to identify the suspect and her address. They immediately conducted a pursuit operation against her.
