The YMCA CamSur recently conducted a continuing Tree Planting Activity together with YMCA members, REACT Isarog Group, REACT Sinarapan Group- Buhi, Junior REACT Naga College Foundation Tigers, CBSUA College Y Club- Main Campus (CYC), Youth Community Service Club of San Ramon, SRFFA (San Ramon Farmers and Fisherfolks Association), SWISA (Small Water Impounding System Association) and LGU of Brgy. San Ramon, Siruma last November 5, 2022 at Brgy. San Ramon Watershed and Impounding Dam, Siruma, Camarines Sur. It is participated by 50 active members and volunteers with 544 tree seedlings (Acacia, African tulip, Narra, Fire tree and Bamboo) planted.

Valuing the importance of trees in our lives and the communities, we have committed to tree planting activities to help protect and conserve our natural resources and habitats. Each tree planted is a step toward a greener planet for the next generation of Filipinos. There is still much to be done, and the clock is ticking. Climate change is looming over our Mother Earth and we need an urgent Climate Action. If we can contribute no matter how little then this is a chance to make things right and help our planet to heal. It’s never too late. But together, we can make a difference!

THE members of YMCA of Camarines Sur along with their friends who participated in the tree planting activity conducted in Siruma town last Novermber 5, this year.
